Terje Gravdal – “Welcome to The Rehab”

Terje Gravdal is a Country singer/songwriter from Odda in Hardanger on the west coast of Norway. Terje Gravdal is on Tunedloud Hit Radio with the track “Welcome to The Rehab”.  The song is an oblique look at today’s competitive society and the focus on success. The listener is invited to reflect on their own pace in life with a song that has a relatively high tempo. Profitability, efficiency, quality and delivery ability are values that are highlighted. But this leads to a rush towards goals. We always hear about goals that force people to be more efficient, produce more, and earn more at a lower cost. Goal attainment easily becomes more important than people, animals and nature. This results in little rest and a lot of stress, pressure and burnout. Perhaps we should give more space to the real values that lie in cooperation, sharing, contact, relationships and love?
