Lovejive – ‘People’

Don’t call it a comeback. It’s a heart attack, baby! Cousins, Ryan Cowell & Paul Furlow, reunite 15 years, 2 marriages and 4 children after the dissolution of their new-age pop-rock boy band, Lovejive, to bring back their signature Upper Midwest genre-dissolving sound. Backed by their tight multi-instrumental work, the music bleeds with intricate progressions, earworm melodies, buzzing hooks, layered symphonic harmonies and zany lyrics with surprising depth. We invite you to join Lovejive as they climb to the summit of musical and spiritual possibilities, as they release their new LP, ‘Climax’, over the coming months.

Lovejive is on radio rotation with the song, “People” from the EP, “One Way, People.” “Jeez.” “This is a thinly disguised pandemic song written from the perspective of a father seeing his young kids grow up in lockdown last year. It is a song about undeserved suspicion of our neighbors, making due at home, and ultimately hope for the future,” explain Lovejive. “The premise sounds a bit cheesy, but we assure you it is not.”
